I been lookin' for a man to call my own A normal life and a happy home These young boys are all I find This may not be love, but the sex is just fine. Chorus: He's got me under and over His arms are all around His tongue is heaven on my lips And now he's going down Ooooooooooooooo So Divine This may not be love, But the sex is just fine. I been searchin' for a man high and low Like this young rogue whose heart I stole He's just a boy, but I don't mind This may not be love, But the sex is just fine. (Chorus) Now I've got a man to call my own A normal life and a happy home These young boys I've left behind Now I've got love and the sex is just fine. (Chorus)

Burn 02:21
Follow me, I'll take you down To where you wish that you could go You can give the children nightmares It will teach them of the world. I'll hold your hand and smile As the road we've made unfurls And I'll laugh as you burn in hell Are you a cannibal, a necrophile, A little bit of both? A box of loolies in your closet And your lamps are made of bones I'm watching through the window So you think you're safe at home And I'll laugh as you burn in hell Chorus: I'm your accomplice And your victim I'm your redemption And your salvation I'm your revival But not survival 'Cause I'll laugh as you burn in hell You talk to girls out on the street Somehow they never make it home. You keep their heads around the house To forget that you're alone I see the smoke, it's rising As the flesh comes off your bones And I'll laugh as you burn in hell I picked you up outside a bar, And I took you to the back I've been watching you, Poor Thing! You thought you'd never meet your match You're writhing in the corner Oh, come on, it's just a scratch... How I'll laugh As you burn in hell. (Chorus)
3.
You flippant little man So good at criticizing You hold me in your arms And then you head for the horizon You selfish little man Lie to her you lie to me Say you want to see me Leave me dangle on a string I gave you pieces of myself I wouldn't give to any other All the soul and words and music You pitched into the gutter You flippant little man Your words don't mean a thing You slap me in the face With talk of fever in the spring So I'll just walk on by Pretend you never held me Remember that the words you said Were lies to wrap around me You flippant little man Your hollow words that ring Inside my head I know You were just fever in the spring
4.
If I was rich Would you take me? If I was built Would you make me? If I was faithful and true, Would you hold me close to you? Chorus: Can't help the way I am, But if I could I'd do anything So you would. If I was meek Would you call me? If I was sweet Would you ball me? (Chorus) I'd be a saint for you And wear a halo too I'd give up all my vices At least change a few You'd be so good for me But darling don't you see I'll always be a spider We ain't meant to be If I was cheap Would you raise me? If I was mean Would you tame me? (Chorus)
5.
Wait 02:40
You don't understand, I'm fine Just need to catch my breath Just need to recall I'm not sleeping anymore I'm not the only one to do your chores You don't understand, I'm not your slave anymore You don't understand, I'm living For just a bit of death It's just I can't stand these lies anymore I'm not irresponsible When I walk out the door You don't understand, I'm not as I was before Chorus: I was climbing this tree I was walking this road I was sitting right here While I wait for Godot You don't understand, I'm leaving For a bit of passion Away from the call I can't hear anymore I don't need anyone like I did before You don't understand, I'm not your fool anymore. (Chorus)
6.
You've got sand in your pockets A raindrop in your hand Your clothes are all rolled over You're a stranger in this land Chorus He's got nothing for your sorrow He's got nothing for your pain Better walk around the corner 'Cause on this street they're insane You got a name tag on the counter And a puppet on a string Your rings are all fake diamonds Darling that don't mean a thing (Chorus) In the meadows they are singing In the cities only moan On this street they are silent Don't let them catch you all alone You go a whining in the alleys And you wake up when it's night You're scavenging the shadows Though the moon is full and bright It's a long walk to the next block But to stay is only worse Watch your back, they follow You'll lose more than just your purse (Chorus) In the meadows they are singing In the cities only moan On this street they are silent Don't let them catch you all alone
7.
You're going down, and I'm taking you You're going down, and I'm taking you Only bones and skin left when I'm through You're going down and I'm taking you You're just one of many devils But I'm the biggest, baddest, demon of them all You thought I was your sweet slave angel Well I got news, I'm the one to make you fall You're going down, and I'm taking you You're going down, and I'm taking you You won't even be a man before I'm through You're going down, and I'm taking you I don't have to try, where I'm taking you Don't have to try, where I'm taking you The wave of a hand, the bat of an eye Don't have to try, where I'm taking you You're just one of many devils But I'm the biggest, baddest, demon of them all You thought I was your sweet slave angel Well I got news, I'm the one to make you fall Can't tell no lies, where I'm taking you Can't tell no lies, where I'm taking you Just a piece of meat, for the vultures and the flies Can't tell no lies, where I'm taking you You're going down, and I'm taking you You're going down, and I'm taking you I won't be happy 'til I do You're going down, and I'm taking you
8.
Suicidal, homicidal, Adrenalin junkie that I am I feel the blades sink in the board They're right next to my skin Chorus: They're up and down my body They're in between my legs I writhe upon the knives and cum 'Cause I'm the queen of blades I've never found a better ride Than spinning on this wheel With danger pain behind my eyes And kisses made of steel It's a way to ditch the sorrow And the solitude that aches I'll escape the steel of knives tonight 'Cause I'm the queen of blades Don't ask me why I'm standing here with metal pinning flesh I can't explain why I prefer Adrenalin to rest (Chorus)
9.
The life of the party The toast of the town Friends through the grapevine And no one can bring you down If there's a ladder, you can climb it Stepping on the heads in the way Always got your mind set On being famous at the end of the day Shallow martini soiree Chorus: That's what you get You only see your own reflection That's what you get Your ego gets in the way That's what you get You're the center of attention Your destination's just a Shallow martini soiree The mind of a countess The body of a tart Men think you're so fine But no one can win your heart You're watching from the sidelines But you don't know you're not in the game Only care for your time No one better get in the way of your Shallow martini soiree (Chorus)
10.
Salome 04:19
It was never my intention Just one kiss All I was looking for Just a bit of insurrection My wayward heart Not worth dying for Give me your body Skin whiter than the moon Give me your tresses Hair blacker than the tomb Give me your mouth Lips redder than a wound Chorus: There was nothing in the world As black as your hair There was nothing in the world As white as your skin There was nothing in the world As red as your mouth Why did you not let me in? There was nothing in the world As black as my heart There was nothing in the world As pure as your soul There was nothing in the world As red as your blood Why did I not want you whole? It was never my intention Just one kiss All I was looking for Just a bit of insurrection My wayward heart Not worth dying for I gave my body Skin whiter than the moon I gave my tresses Hair redder than a wound I gave my heart Hear blacker than the tomb (Chorus)
11.
Fool's Gold 02:43
I've never been such a fool As I have for you I've never been such a fool As I have for you I didn't mean to tease I only meant to please But it seems you think me untrue I have been such a fool To have lived by this rule I have been such a fool To have lived by this rule I'd rather mourn what's done Than that I left alone But now I don't know what to do Chorus: I love life in all its forms From the gutter to the palace Love the raindrops and the moonshine The wonderland of Alice Love the sky and the shadows The chaos and the laws I could love you just the same if given cause I could have loved you just the same if given cause You've been so cruel And you're leaving so soon You've been so cruel And you're leaving so soon Now you've said goodbye And I swallow my pride But now I know just what to do (Chorus)

about

Songs for Saints and Sinners is Dante Ingram's first release back in 2001. She wrote the tunes with Tuey Connell and Jonny Polonsky and recorded some of the songs at 35th Street Studios and others at Rax Trax - both in Chicago. Her first foray into music started the themes that continued into Sideshow Villains: murder and mayhem set to lovely melodies.
